Paul Torres

Meet Paul Torres, an accomplished Software Engineer and Architect with a passion for creating scalable, robust, and high-throughput distributed applications. A graduate of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, Paul has a diverse educational background, with degrees in Molecular Biology, Biology, and Biotechnology.

Throughout his career, Paul has honed his skills in evaluating business and infrastructure needs and designing end-to-end solutions, including data management and analysis. As a "right tool for the right job" professional, he is language, paradigm, and platform agnostic, able to work with a wide range of technologies.

Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Globant, Paul has also held positions as a Software Engineer at Ntent, Adaptive Medias, Inc, and Onescreen, as well as co-founder and Chief Operations Officer at Abiotic Technologies. He has also served as a laboratory instructor and research assistant at Cal Poly Pomona and as a Cavalry Scout in the United States Army.
