Paul Ramsay
Associate Pastor and Church Planting Resident at Sojourn Galleria Church
Paul Ramsay, a physics and philosophy graduate from Emory University, has had a fulfilling career in education, music, and church leadership. He taught geometry and physics for three years at Spring Woods High School through Teach for America before transitioning to a full-time interim position as a musical worship leader at a church in Houston. In 2015, he embarked on a new journey to become a church planting resident at Sojourn Heights, where he combined his seminary studies at Reformed Theological Seminary with part-time staff duties. He is currently an Associate Pastor at Sojourn Galleria Church, and his primary focus is to start and pastor a new neighborhood church in Houston that prioritizes living on mission and introducing people to Jesus Christ.
Throughout his career, Ramsay has worked with various organizations, including being a referee for the Atlanta District Amateur Soccer League and Georgia State Soccer. He was also a rock climbing wall coordinator at Emory University and a program director/counselor at the Metro Atlanta YMCA.
