Paul Putnam

Paul Putnam holds a BS in Physical Geography and Planning from Northern Michigan University, an MS in Geography from the University of South Carolina, and further studied Physical Geography & Planning at Florida State University.
With a rich and diverse professional background, Paul has held various roles such as District Director at Michigan State University Extension, Founder of Copper Brook Farms, and field guide at Putnam Outfitters, focusing on engaging people with the outdoors.
Previously, he served as an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR at UW-Extension, specializing in Community Natural Resources and Economic Development Education. Paul also has experience in mitigation planning and emergency management, having worked as a Hazard Mitigation Planning Program Manager, Assistant Division Director, and Hazard Mitigation Grant Manager at the Georgia Emergency Management Agency - Office of Homeland Security.
Additionally, Paul Putnam was a Graduate Student pursuing both his MS and Ph.D. degrees at the University of South Carolina. Through his academic and professional journey, Paul has developed a deep understanding of geography, planning, natural resources, and environmental conservation.
