Paul Polizzotto
Founder & CEO of Givewith
Paul Polizzotto, founder and CEO of Givewith, has a rich background as a social entrepreneur. He started his career pioneering Urban Watershed Cleaning and Zero Discharge technologies that remove pollutants and toxins from industrial sites, parking lots and storm drain systems, preventing runoff from contaminating rivers, lakes, streams, and oceans. Paul's innovation and stewardship were recognized in 1999 with the EPA's Environmental Hero award.
From there, Paul went on to co-found the environmental advertising company EcoMedia, which leveraged advertising sales from business-to-business transactions to direct over $100 million in resources to environmental, education, and health programs across the United States, improving the quality of life for more than 60 million people. CBS acquired EcoMedia in 2010, where Paul served as the President and Chairman of the Board.
Today, Paul is leading Givewith, a technology company that embeds social impact into commerce. His "easy button" solutions make it simple for businesses to integrate social impact programs into existing business processes such as sales, procurement, and HR. This helps his customers grow while simultaneously creating new sources of funding for the world's most effective social and environmental impact initiatives.
Paul is also known for his involvement with various organizations. He was an Advisory Board member of the M.S. program in Entrepreneurship & Sustainable Innovation at Loyola Marymount University and a Senior Fellow & Inaugural Member of the Board of Advisors for the Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab at USC Marshall School of Business. He also founded Adopt-A-Waterway and Property Prep, among other initiatives.
