Paul Murphy

Paul Murphy is a Los Angeles-based design innovator with a career spanning various design categories. He founded FILE2FAB, a platform focusing on additive manufacturing's transformative potential. Paul emphasizes design tailored for additive manufacturing to unlock the possibilities of 3D printing for architects, designers, and engineers.

With a background in creating experiential design activations for renowned brands like Microsoft, FedEx, Boeing, Cisco, and HP, Paul brings deep production experience, design expertise, and financial acumen to his ventures. He has served as a senior executive at top exhibition firms Freeman and GES, demonstrating his ability to manage and problem-solve projects of any scale.

Paul's educational journey includes a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Bentley University's McCallum Graduate School of Business, a BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and additional studies in Digital Fabrication at the University of Washington.

Currently, Paul Murphy holds the position of CEO at FILE2FAB, building on his past roles such as General Manager Corporate Accounts at FreemanXP, VP & General Manager at DisplayWorks, President & General Manager at GES - Global Experience Specialists, and Senior Industrial Designer at GES - Global Experience Specialists.
