Paul Lyons

Paul Lyons is an experienced registered electrical and mechanical engineer with a strong background in the renewables and environment industry. He holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Earth & Environment - Geography from Boston University, an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of New Haven, a B.S. in Engineering (Agricultural & Mechanical) from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. Additionally, he pursued Professional Continuing Education in Batteries / Energy Storage at HeatSpring.

His expertise lies in Smart Grid and Photovoltaic Electric Power. Paul has a proven track record in business development and currently serves as the President of Zapotec Energy, Inc. Prior to this role, he held the position of CFO and Cofounder at Solar Genesys, Inc. He also has experience working with organizations such as Xenergy, The United Illuminating Company, Maryknoll, and Mennonite Central Committee.
