Paul LaCour is the owner and president of LaCOUR, a third-generation contract furniture design and manufacturing company based in Fairfield, NJ, with a showroom and sales located in The New York Design Center. With over 50 years of history, LaCOUR specializes in designing and manufacturing furniture that meets the specific mechanical, technology, and economic needs of its customers.

LaCOUR's success depends on total customer loyalty and satisfaction, and Paul has been fortunate to work with talented individuals from the financial, architecture, real estate, and information technology industries throughout his tenure as owner and president. His education is primarily self-taught, with some art school and design/draftsman/architectural apprenticeship.

Paul serves as a mentor to aspiring furniture designers and manufacturers, sharing his vast knowledge of the industry and the importance of good design. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the streets, loading docks, and construction sites throughout New York City and the world, where he continues to learn valuable lessons that cannot be taught in universities.
