Paul Jones

Paul Jones is a versatile individual with a passion for mountaineering, running, and open water rowing. With a background in project management, Paul is currently employed as a Project Manager at SLAC, focusing on the development of the Scientific Proposal Administration System for LCLS User Program.

Previously, Paul held leadership roles such as Director of Service & Operations Manager for a boutique travel operator, showcasing his expertise in operational improvement, project management, and customer service. His skills include Operations & Logistics, Customer Service, Sustainability, Strategic Planning, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Paul's educational journey includes studies in Mountaineering Leadership Expedition Primer, Project Management, B.Sc. Physical Geography, and certification in Project Management Professional (PMP)®. He has pursued education at institutions like the International Wilderness Leadership School, University of Hull, Hemsley Fraser, Global Vision International, and Stanford University.

Throughout his career, Paul has contributed to various organizations like SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Thomson Safaris, Global Vision International, Scout7, and Daily Mirror (Colombo) in roles such as LCLS Program Coordinator, Director of Customer Service, Director of Operations, Global Customer Relations Manager, Regional Manager, Website Editor, and Staff Writer.
