Paul Humphrey

Paul Humphrey is the Chief Executive Officer of BMLL Technologies, a role he has held since December 2019. Under his leadership, BMLL has focused on providing advanced financial data engineering and analytics, particularly in market microstructure, which was traditionally accessible only to sophisticated quantitative players. The company specializes in historic full depth (L3) Limit Order Book data, offering traders and analysts access to granular data at high speed and scale.12

In his tenure at BMLL, Humphrey has redefined the company's strategy and positioned it for growth, successfully leading two significant funding rounds: approximately $11.5 million during the pandemic in 2020 and $26 million in October 2022, with backing from notable investors including Nasdaq Ventures and FactSet. His leadership has also garnered multiple industry awards for the company.13

Humphrey has over 30 years of experience in the financial markets, having held various executive positions across different firms. Prior to BMLL, he served as Global Head of FICC at Euronext, where he was instrumental in shaping the group's strategy for fixed-income and foreign exchange markets. His extensive background includes roles at Tullett Prebon, ABN AMRO, and Goldman Sachs, among others. He is also involved in advisory capacities with several financial and technology firms through his consultancy, Humphrey House Advisors Limited.134
