Paul Ganssle

Paul Ganssle is a well-known programmer with vast experience in the tech industry. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Google's New York City outpost, he has previously worked as a Senior Software Developer at Bloomberg LP, a Freelance Programmer at BeyondPod and a Senior Scientist, Physics at Halliburton. Ganssle is also a Python Core Developer who maintains the open-source library, Python-DateUtil. With a B.S. in Chemistry, Ganssle has worked as a Research Assistant at Sarentis Therapeutics / Pasternak Lab, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer-Center, and as a Graduate Student Researcher at Pines Lab, University of California, Berkeley. When not working on tech projects, Ganssle takes an interest in Chemistry, having studied it extensively during his undergraduate and graduate education.
