Paul Askew is a renowned chef, restaurateur, and culinary expert. His passion for cooking started at a young age, where he spent hours in the kitchen with his mother and grandmother. He honed his skills by working in various kitchens across the UK, including the prestigious Chester Grosvenor Hotel.
In 2000, Askew opened his first restaurant, The London Carriageworks, and has since established himself as one of the top chefs in Liverpool. He currently operates three restaurants - The Art School, The Art School Cellars, and The Art School Restaurant - which showcase his love of modern British cuisine, highlighting the best of local and seasonal ingredients.
Aside from his work in the kitchen, Askew is also a published author, with two books under his name, and a regular guest on cooking shows on television and radio. He is also passionate about promoting sustainable and ethical food practices, and a strong advocate for education and training in the culinary arts.
