Patty Compas

Patty Montoya is an accomplished Event Marketing Manager who has honed her skills in developing and executing corporate, startup, and nonprofit events. With her extensive experience in event planning, partnership building, vendor negotiation, project development, customer service, and event execution administration, Patty has become a proficient event marketer with a passion for building all types of events. Her passion for organizing events is matched by her love of swimming, and she is a qualified coach in this area.

Patty has studied Marketing at UC Berkeley Extension, International Relations; Sustainable Development at American University, and has completed General Assembly's Product Manager Immersive program. In addition, she has studied Portuguese at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, reflecting her passion for travel and languages.

Over the years, Patty has worked with a broad range of organizations, including Outco Inc., GoFlyy, Titipoza Anticipatory Grief Coach and Death Doula, Early Growth, General Assembly, P.M.V Consulting, Socialatom Ventures, COLFUTURO, Taproot Foundation, Partners of the Americas, and Global Fairness Initiative. In the role of Director of Partnerships, Patty has shown her prowess as a skilled partnership builder. Also, her skills as a product manager in residence have been evident during her time in the pilot program.
