Pattie Firestone

Pattie Porter Firestone is a highly acclaimed sculptor specializing in metal, wood, and stone sculptures, with a distinct focus on energy, movement, and rhythm.

As the former President of the Washington Sculptors Group, she has made significant contributions to the art community in Washington, DC.

With a diverse background that includes directing a public interest law center, teaching art and art history, and co-founding the Westside Arts Center in California, Firestone's expertise spans across various artistic and community endeavors.

Her impressive portfolio boasts numerous solo exhibitions, including a well-received show at the American University Museum, and recognition such as the 2006 GAIA PRIZE for a notable installation in Arlington, Virginia.

Specializing in outdoor metal sculptures, Firestone's work includes pieces in rusted steel, painted steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and bronze, suitable for gallery displays, museum showcases, or custom commissions.
