Patrick Ward

Patrick Ward is a seasoned professional currently engaged in the Research & Development Department of the Seattle Seahawks, focusing on data analysis within the realm of American football.

With an academic background that includes a PhD in Sports Science, Patrick is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) affiliated with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Before his tenure with the Seahawks, he honed his skills as a sport scientist at the prestigious Nike Sports Research Lab.

Patrick's expertise lies in evaluating training demands to enhance athlete well-being, prevent injuries, and optimize performance across various sports.

His educational journey includes attending Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Liverpool John Moores University, completing an MS degree at California University of Pennsylvania, and obtaining a BA from Berklee College of Music.

Apart from his current role at the Seattle Seahawks, Patrick has held positions such as Sports Science Analyst at the same organization, Sports Performance Researcher at the Nike Sports Research Lab, and Owner of Optimum Sports Performance.
