Patrick Musau
Patrick Musau is a PhD candidate whose research focuses on the safety and reliability of systems that utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques. He aims to develop techniques that provide rigorous guarantees of security for these systems, with a particular emphasis on the commercialization of these technologies. Patrick is an alumnus of Vanderbilt University, where he received his MS in electrical engineering with a GPA of 3.916. Prior to his graduate studies, he attended Furman University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in physics and computing applied math, graduating summa cum laude with a GPA of 3.991.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Patrick has gained valuable industry experience as a software engineer at Open Robotics and as a data science fellow at Correlation One. He has also worked as a research fellow for the chemistry department at Furman University and as a library student assistant, among other roles. Patrick is passionate about the verification of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications, as well as cyber-physical systems and intelligent autonomy.
