Patrick Meier, PhD

Patrick Meier is a renowned expert in leveraging technology for humanitarian aid and crisis response. With over 17 years of experience working with international organizations such as the UN, Red Cross, World Bank, and many others, Meier has contributed to various humanitarian technology projects in over 30 countries. He is the author of the critically acclaimed book, "Digital Humanitarians," which has been recognized by experts at Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and other prestigious institutions. He also holds a PhD in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, a pre-doc from Stanford University, and an MA from Columbia University. Meier has founded and co-founded several organizations, including WeRobotics, UAViators, and the Digital Humanitarian Network. He is also an internationally sought-out speaker, has given over 200 talks in over 40 countries, and holds a CASA certified drone pilot license.
