Patrick Fitzgibbons is a well-respected figure in the criminal justice industry with over twenty years of experience in various law enforcement roles. He is also an accomplished author, coach, speaker, and educator. After retiring from his successful law enforcement career, Fitzgibbons wanted to give back to the profession that had been so good to him. He started a popular podcast called Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast where he provides knowledge, advice, and tools to help criminal justice professionals grow personally and professionally. The show covers topics such as police and criminal justice reform, leadership, use of force, and self-care. Fitzgibbons has interviewed a diverse range of guests, including NY Times Best Selling Authors, Entrepreneurs, Military and Law Enforcement Leaders and Influencers, Actors, and Private Sector Professionals.

Fitzgibbons has authored a book titled E.V.O.L.V.E - A Collection of Routines, Habits, and Advice to Take Charge of Your Life and Be Your Best Self, an acronym that he uses as a framework for his personal coaching sessions. Fitzgibbons believes in elevating thoughts, visualization, surrounding yourself with the right people, loving yourself, celebrating victories, and always showing up and bringing your best.

Fitzgibbons holds several degrees, including a Master's degree in Leadership & Organizations/Human Capital Emphasis from the University of Denver, a Certificate in Police Staff & Command, Class #441 from Northwestern University, a Master of Science (MS) in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University, and an MBA in Business/E-Commerce from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Fitzgibbons has studied a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix.

Fitzgibbons is a former Army Paratrooper who served with the 82nd Airborne Division - Fort Bragg, NC. He has also held several roles in education, including serving as an adjunct CJ professor at Aims Community College, Apollo Group, and Colorado Technical University. In law enforcement, Fitzgibbons served as a detective and supervisor at the Louisville Police Department and as a police officer, detective, and supervisor at Lamar Police Department.
