Patrick Carroll

Patrick Carroll is a seasoned healthcare executive with a background in clinical quality, strategic initiatives, and the expansion of care scope across different organizations.

As the former Chief Medical Officer HIMS-HERS, Patrick contributed to leading clinical quality and expanding care services into all 50 states.

Prior to his role at HIMS-HERS, he served as Group Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Walgreens, overseeing the retail clinic business unit, clinical programs, and health system alliances.

His experience at Walgreens involved leading the provision of care, ensuring clinical outcomes and patient safety, managing healthcare information systems, and driving strategic initiatives and programs.

Before Walgreens, Patrick held the position of CMO/VP at Integrated Care Partners within Hartford HealthCare, a fully integrated health system based in Hartford, Connecticut.

During his tenure at Hartford HealthCare, Patrick was responsible for value-based plans for a large provider organization, developed and led a care coordination team, and oversaw all quality programs for Integrated Care Partners.

Patrick Carroll's education includes studying MD, Medicine at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, and obtaining a Bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross.

In addition to his roles at HIMS-HERS, Walgreens, and Hartford HealthCare, Patrick has had various leadership positions at organizations like ChristianaCare, Vida Health, and Atrius Health.
