- LEADERSHIP: Brought in by the board as CEO to reverse the direction of failed management, create and execute a strategy to rejuvenate/ revitalize organization, build and direct leadership team and return the company to profitable operation. ▶️ KEY HIGHLIGHTS: ✔️ Grew revenue from ~ $4 million to nearly $10 million during a depressed economic period in a highly competitive domain. ✔️ Reduced burn rate by 1/3 and brought company back to cash flow positive ✔️ Obtained exclusive marketing opportunity and negotiated exclusive rights for VMIX’s Givit product to be presented to seven million flip camera owners as the premium video sharing solution. ✔️ Returned management back to founders. - LEADERSHIP: International leadership covering Queensland, Australia; Denver, USA, Russia, China, S.A., Africa. ▶️ KEY HIGHLIGHTS:  ✔️ On assignment in Australia, I assisted in debt restructuring ($360+ million) for a large acquisition, analyzing management performance, advising the Board and CEO regarding capabilities of existing staff and operations, and providing suggestions for additions, reductions, and/or reassignments. ✔️ Lean Supply Chain Management: Assisted with streamlining and scaling and operations in multiple locations including Asia, North and South America, Africa, as well as Australia. ✔️ Reduced cash burn by $10 million dollars and reorganized foreign subsidiaries, resulting in a $27 million-dollar revenue improvement. - LEADERSHIP: Brought in to deliver a strategic turnaround with this distressed company, with an incomplete management team, a widening rift between offshore development groups and USA personnel, and no strategic direction. ▶️ KEY HIGHLIGHTS: ✔️ Restructuring & Change Management: Facilitated the transition of the existing leadership team out of the company, restructured the organization and rebuilt a new management, financial, and development and marketing teams. ✔️ Business Strategic Planning & Execution: Obtained additional equity infusion by existing investors, while developing overall product development roadmaps and professional services strategy. ✔️ Team Leadership: Led the team in winning a landmark contract with British Telephone for Testing Network equipment for the BT 21st Century mandate, which resulted in awards of multi-million-dollar contracts totally $21 million. ✔️ Strategic Management: Brought company from the brink of liquidation to being recognized as a leader in the development of innovative solutions for lab management. Restructured organization and rebuilt management team, including engineering. ✔️ Business Strategic Planning & Execution: Set new strategy, including product roadmap, sales focus, and distribution, and led the team in establishing relationships with Value-Added Resellers and Original Equipment Manufacturers, including Dell, Rackable, Rorke and Bell Microproducts. ✔️ New Product Development: Launched first generally available version of products and generated first sales on forecast. ✔️ Intellectual Property Strategy: Facilitated expansion of the Company’s strong intellectual property position.
