Patrick Blunt is a professional golf player and entrepreneur who currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of JAMEGA PROMOTIONS LIMITED, a position he has held since November 2020.1 He is the founder and CEO of the Jamega Pro Golf Tour, which is described as the UK's number one developmental golf tour.1

Background and Career

Patrick's journey in golf began after a significant setback in his football career. At the age of 16, he suffered a broken collarbone that ended his prospects as a football player for clubs like Chelsea FC, Watford, and QPR.1 As part of his rehabilitation, he was advised to play golf, which he quickly excelled at:

• Joined Buckinghamshire Golf Club at age 16
• Started with a handicap of 18 at age 17
• Improved to a +4 handicap by age 20
• Turned professional after a successful first event in Portugal1

Entrepreneurial Ventures

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Patrick was playing on the Amena tour in the Middle East. This experience inspired him to focus on networking and helping develop new players in golf.1 In 2019, he became the commercial director of the Jamega Tour, and in 2020, he acquired the brand and became CEO, rebranding it to the Jamega Pro Golf Tour.1

Under Patrick's leadership, the Jamega Pro Golf Tour aims to become the UK's most prestigious and inclusive pro golf tour.
