Patrick Barney

Patrick Barney is an accomplished Project Engineer with a robust background in mechanical and industrial engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Throughout his career, Patrick has showcased proficiency in a range of software tools including AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, SolidWorks, Management, and ANSYS. His expertise and skills have been honed through various roles in different organizations.

At SunPower Corporation, Patrick served as the Manager of New Homes Design Engineering, overseeing projects and teams to deliver innovative solutions in the field of sustainable energy. Prior to this, he held positions such as Civil Structural Engineer/EIT at Kadent Structural Design, Manufacturing Engineer at Bay Ship & Yacht Co., and Project Engineer at Monterey Mechanical Company.

Patrick Barney has also contributed his talents to companies like Canopy Energy as the Director of Engineering/RME C-46, Sungevity as a PV Design Engineer II, SolarCity as a PV Designer, and REC Solar as an Engineering Intern. His diverse experience equips him with a comprehensive understanding of the engineering landscape.
