Patricia Mota is a recognized leader in building inclusive and equitable workplaces, helping others achieve their highest potential, and advocating for access and equity.13 She currently serves as the President & CEO of the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE), where she leads strategy, fundraising, development, professional leadership programs, and expansion of the organization's reach nationwide.123

Under her leadership, HACE's operating budget increased by 40% in less than two years and nearly 70% in less than 3 years.23 She brought in $2.5 million in new corporate partnerships, increased membership from 35,000 to 85,000, and expanded leadership programming to over ten cities in the U.S.13 Patricia is a sought-after thought leader and speaker, having presented at various conferences and for top corporations.13

In addition to her role at HACE, Patricia co-founded SHENIX, a Financial Technology (Fintech) app aimed at closing the wealth gap by providing culturally relevant financial education, career development tools, and resources to underserved and underbanked communities, beginning with Latinas.13

Patricia has a strong history of serving the Latino community, reflected in her service on various nonprofit boards and committees, and several accolades.23 She serves on the O'Neil School of Public Affairs Distinguished Alumni Council, Chicago Theological Seminary Board of Trustee, Illinois Treasurer Charitable Trust Board Committee, and was named one of Chicago's Most Powerful Latinos in 2019 by Crain's Chicago Business.23
