Patricia Ernst, LL.M.

Patricia Ernst is a highly qualified media and entertainment lawyer based in Berlin, with extensive experience advising various local and international media and entertainment companies. She also provides council to tech and social media platforms, TV broadcasters on legal and regulatory matters such as youth protection regulations, intermediary liability, and advertising restrictions. Patricia teaches courses on media law at universities and is highly knowledgeable on EU copyright, AVMSD, and Digital Services Acts. She attended both UC Hastings and the University of Connecticut School of Law, obtained her LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Media Law from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and completed her Second State Examination at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin. Prior to her current role at Morrison & Foerster LLP, she held positions with Gleiss Lutz, GIZ German Organization, and more.
