Pat Corbitt is a seasoned professional with over 45 years of experience in media creation, recognized globally for his expertise in digital production, CGI, and special effects. Throughout his career, he has produced documentaries worldwide, written television scripts, and crafted feature film screenplays. Pat is a pioneer in virtual reality CD-ROMs and interactive DVDs, employing innovative 360-degree photographic technologies. He is a respected figure in the media industry, frequently speaking at prestigious events and institutions on various topics including legacy TV and film, transmedia, writing, and CGI/EFX design and production.
Despite his extensive experience, Pat remains actively engaged in the industry, with ongoing projects such as two new TV series, a second novel, and a recently completed book named 'Being Happy in a Crappy World,' slated for publication. Complementing his media pursuits, Pat is deeply involved in his Church, serving as an RCIA catechist, Religious Education teacher, Lector, and Eucharistic Minister. Additionally, he is working on the follow-up to his Christian Catholic themed books. Collaborating with his brother Dennis, Pat has also ventured into children's music, recently launching the album 'Granny's Hootenanny,' featuring old-time songs for kids on iTunes.
