Parvinder Sachdeva is a trained economist with a robust background in entrepreneurship and public policy. Currently, he serves as the Director Corporate Strategy at Ceridian, focusing on driving the company's growth strategy. Furthermore, he holds the position of Professor of Practice at McMaster University, where he imparts knowledge on public policy analysis to students in the Digital Society MPP program.
Before his current roles, Parvinder excelled as the Deputy Director of Policy for Canada's Federal Minister of Innovation, Science, and Industry. His notable contributions include formulating Canada's Digital Charter, a pivotal document leading to significant legislative changes. Moreover, he spearheaded the policy development for the Consumer Privacy Protection Act, a groundbreaking privacy legislation in Canada.
