Parvin Tank, a veteran technology executive with over 25 years of experience, has embarked on a new adventure as co-owner of Wags N Tales Coffee Bar in Surbiton. Prior to this, Tank had a successful career at Thomson Reuters, having held various leadership positions throughout the years, including VP of Strategic Alliances and Business Development at Propylon, VP of Home Engineering at Mid-Career Break, VP of Technology, UK/EMEA at Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting, VP of Technology, Science Assets at Thomson Reuters Global Resources, VP of Technology and CTO at Thomson Dialog, and Head of Information Technology at Thomson Dialog. Tank's broad industry experience spans corporate, legal, science, intellectual property, and tax & accounting, and she has managed technology teams across the globe in cities like London, Los Angeles, New York, Silicon Valley, Hyderabad, and Zug in Switzerland. She is known for her excellent communication skills, ability to translate business needs into technology solutions, and commercial and negotiation prowess, as well as her thorough understanding of corporate tax optimization initiatives through asset management and transfer pricing. Tank studied Computer Studies at Loughborough University and Accounting and Finance at Middlesex University.
