Parvathi Santhosh-Kumar is a future-oriented systems change leader with a focus on advancing racial justice to enhance the well-being of children and families with limited opportunities.
With over a decade of experience, Parvathi has been actively involved in cross-sector systems change efforts in education and economic mobility at local, national, and global levels.
She served as the Vice President of Community Impact at America's Promise Alliance, where she co-led initiatives to strengthen leaders' capabilities in addressing organizational challenges and fostering collective action for more equitable outcomes.
Parvathi is committed to reshaping communities into environments that promote learning and opportunities for all residents and institutions to contribute to better outcomes for every child, with a particular emphasis on narrowing racial opportunity and achievement gaps.
She holds a Master in Public Policy in Social and Urban Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of arts in American Studies from Northwestern University.
Throughout her career, Parvathi has taken on various leadership roles at organizations including America's Promise Alliance, StriveTogether, and the Office of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, where she focused on education policy, equity, and community impact.
She has also been involved with the White House Council for Community Solutions, demonstrating her commitment to driving positive change at the national level.
