Paresh Rajwat

Paresh Rajwat is the Vice President at Meta (formerly Facebook) and the Head of Product for Virtual and Mixed Reality (VR/MR), overseeing the company's vision for the Metaverse.

With over two decades of experience in Product Leadership, Paresh has worked on cutting-edge AI and machine learning products at Meta, contributing to significant growth and revenue.

Paresh's expertise spans from leading the Facebook Video team to enhancing Search relevance and driving monetization for the Facebook app, particularly in emerging markets like India.

He also holds leadership experience from roles at Apple, Criteo, Yahoo!, and Microsoft, where he managed large teams and contributed to building successful products and generating substantial revenue.

In addition to his corporate roles, Paresh is actively involved in the tech start-up community as an investor and mentor to entrepreneurs.

His academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University, along with dual Master's degrees in Manufacturing Engineering and Management Sciences from Stanford University.
