Paramita Dasgupta is a seasoned professional with a strong educational background in Economics, having pursued her Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Mumbai, and further advancing her studies by completing a Master of Arts in Economics, International Development, and International Business at the University of Reading. With a wealth of experience in the field, Paramita has held key roles in reputable organizations such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the World Bank Group. At IFC, she currently serves as the Manager for East Asia Pacific Regional Advisory, leveraging her expertise to drive impactful initiatives in the region. Prior to her current position, she held the position of Development Professional at the World Bank Group, where she made significant contributions to various projects. Additionally, Paramita has also held the position of Practice Manager for Asia Pacific at the World Bank Group, showcasing her leadership abilities and deep understanding of development challenges in the region.
