He holds an MPA in Executive Leadership from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of the Potomac. Pape is fluent in French, English, and Wolof, conversational in Spanish, and a specialist in West and Central Africa.

Pape has served in several prestigious organizations over the years, including Global Vice President & Executive Director for Africa at Ashoka, President & CEO at Phelps Stokes, and Chairman & CEO at Global Youth Innovation Network (GYIN). He has also held other managerial positions, such as Director, Micro-Finance Department at COOPI - Cooperazione Internazionale, Senior Fellow at Phelps Stokes, and Director Programs for Africa and Freedom Endowment at Phelps Stokes.

Pape is a self-starter with a track record of producing successful results in his leadership roles. He has exceptional team-building skills and is renowned for his ability to negotiate, coach, and monitor projects.
