Paolo Malabuyo

Paolo Malabuyo is a highly experienced user experience designer, manager, leader, and educator with over 25 years of expertise in designing products and services across a diverse range of industries.

With a background in BFA from Carnegie Mellon University, an MBA from California College of the Arts, and additional professional certificates from University of Michigan and a semester abroad at Zhejiang University, Paolo has a well-rounded educational foundation.

Throughout his career, he has held key roles such as Director of UX at Google, Director of Design at Netflix, Vice President at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, and Director of Product at Zynga, showcasing his leadership and management skills.

Paolo's vast experience extends to organizations like YouTube, Microsoft, Oracle Corporation, and IBM Corporation, where he has contributed as a Director, Manager, Game Designer, and UI Designer, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability in various positions.

He has also been actively involved in mentorship and educational roles, previously serving as an Adjunct Professor at CMU Silicon Valley and a member of the Board of Trustees at PhilDev, besides being a Mentor at Endeavor and a member of the Board of Advisors at Carnegie Mellon University.
