Panagiotis Papadimitriou

Panagiotis Papadimitriou is an experienced data science and engineering lead with a strong background in search and recommendation systems, data mining, machine learning algorithms, statistics, and natural language processing. With a PhD in Electrical Engineering - Computer Science, an MS in Electrical Engineering, and a DiplEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from prestigious universities, he has worked for well-known companies such as Facebook, Upwork, Elance-oDesk, Yahoo!, Microsoft, and more.

As the Head of Engineering for Facebook App Integrity, he has become a thought leader in the field, with expertise in building and running data science and engineering teams, moving business metrics, and shipping machine learning models to production systems. He has also been an advisor and consultant for other companies looking to improve their data science and engineering practices.

Panagiotis is a co-founder of Caloricious, a software engineer, and a former research intern, among other roles. His diverse background has given him a unique perspective on the industry and an ability to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical solutions.
