As vice president of business development, I originate and foster relationships with Fortune 500 executives whose organizations may benefit from Regis’s leadership development consulting and simulation-centric solutions. Using a thoughtful and strategic approach, I uncover client initiatives, needs,and priorities before recommending business solutions. A working partnership with clients allows me to pinpoint effective simulation and immersive strategies that solve our clients most critical strategic, operational and talent management related challenges. Our approach is targeted by breaking down old, stale thinking and building new knowledge, understanding and mental models around the systems people work in; we help them understand the short and long term impacts of their decisions. Simulation is the most powerful behavior change tool in creating great thinkers and leaders.

Created, grew and directed all business development efforts as an Executive Team member. Joined organization as 13th employee and first sales contributor. Successfully grew business from a start-up organization to one of Inc’s Fastest Growing 5000 companies.  

•	Developed and grew individual territory by developing new relationships with Fortune 1000 organizations.
•	Obtained strategic partnerships through identifying, qualifying, negotiating and closing new sales opportunities.
•	Hired and managed team of consultative sales professionals for revenue of over $5M in new and existing sales.

Enspire Learning

VP Sales

Accountable for the P&L of a $48 million business serving over four million customers in the Chicago and Detroit markets.  Provided leadership to over 50 individuals from sales and marketing to operations while becoming the largest and fastest growing region for Sprint.

•	Exceeded budgeted sales goal by 110% within first month.  Reversed a three-month decline in over-budgeted sales by refocusing and rebuilding team of nine direct reports. Devised action plans, developed monthly budgets and rebuilt relationships with internal groups.  Trained and coached team by showing by example and working with individual team members.

Regional Sales Manager, Sprint ION (1999 to 2001)
Introduced and managed the launch of Sprint's most visible new service to national retail chains in seven markets.  Directed a team of four managers with over 100 staff members.

•	Launched service in national retail chains, such as CompUSA, Good Guys and Sprint PCS, successfully and timely by devising sales and marketing plans, processes and promotional items.
•	Exceeded leads goal 150% by building strong relationships with store management and staff, and creating and implementing enticing incentive programs.

National Field Sales Manager, Lenexa, KS (1999)
Facilitated the administration and management of national events in order to sell a variety of Sprint's services.

•	Delivered 192% of sales plan by managing the selling of Sprint services at national events.
•	Recruited and trained volunteers for staffing by coordinating schedules, producing training materials, conducing training and motivating staff. 100% of staff trained by event and recruited for other events.

Project Analyst, National Integrated Business Systems, (1998 to 1999)
Developed and maintained project plans for national conversion project. Acted as liaison between regional coordinators and Sprint's internal training group.
