Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Knowledge Institute of Technology (KIOT) and previously held the same position at Jeppiaar Engineering College.
P Sankar is a Recognized Ph.D. supervisor under the Department of Electrical Engineering at Anna University, Chennai, where he completed his Ph.D. in Nano Electronics with a focus on Carbon Nanoelectronics.
He also holds a Master's Degree in Control and Instrumentation Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both achieved with First Class honors from Anna University.
Research interests of P Sankar encompass a wide range of topics including Carbon Nanotube Electronics, CNFET modeling, simulation of Low-Power Circuits, Carbon Nanotube synthesis, and its applications for Nanoelectronics and Energy storage devices.
He specializes in areas such as DFT (Density Functional Theory), Molecular Modeling, Device Level Modeling, NEGF (Nonequilibrium Green's Function), Low-Power Converter, Nanocomposites, NEMS (Nanoelectromechanical Sensors), and CNT-based Molecular Gas Sensor.
Additionally, P Sankar has expertise in Controller design for Power Electronics & Power System applications, Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks, Machine Learning, AI Systems design, and IOT (Internet of Things).
