Owais Amin-EIT

Owais Ahmed Amin-MEng is an electrical engineer with expertise in renewable energy and control software. He is currently working as a Control Software Engineer at e-STORAGE in Toronto, Ontario, Canada since January 2023.1

Prior to his current role, Owais worked at WESCO Distribution in various positions:

1. Application Engineer in the Renewable Division (April 2022 - January 2023)
2. Graduate Trainee (June 2021 - March 2022)

During his time at WESCO, he provided technical design assistance for renewable energy projects across Canada, worked on project quotations for commercial electrical distribution jobs, and managed procurement for a global mining customer.1

Owais has a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta (2018-2021) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology (2013-2017).1

His professional experience includes work in Canada, Germany, and Pakistan, with a focus on renewable energy, battery management systems, and smart grid technologies. Owais has certifications in PLC programming, PCB design, and MATLAB, and is registered as an Engineer in Training with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.1
