Centre for Synthetic Biology and Innovation, Imperial College London
Oskar Lange is a Research Postgraduate (Ph.D) student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London.1 He holds an MSc in Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology from Imperial College London and a BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of Leeds.1
Lange's doctoral research focuses on addressing the challenges of 'difficult-to-express' recombinant proteins.1 His project aims to develop a modular approach to the design and production of biomolecules, allowing for independent development of modules in various protein production platforms that can be shared between multiple final products.1
Lange's research is sponsored by the BBSRC (Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council) and is conducted in collaboration with the Biological Technologies unit at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).1
