Oscar Petrov, a teen based in Seattle, is an individual with a diverse range of interests and a strong focus on Neuroscience, Neurotechnology, Neuroethics, Psychology, and Astronomy & Astrophysics. Apart from these primary interests, Oscar also engages in Philosophy, Quantum Mechanics, and professional Chess. Currently, he is actively involved in projects aimed at enhancing mobility through Visual Evoked Potentials (VEPs), exploring sensory substitution using neurotechnology, and researching EEG-based consumer wearables to augment capabilities. Oscar has previously collaborated with organizations like Neurable in a Hackathon backed by UM-DBI, where he reviewed neurostimulation techniques for improving sleep quality and delved into computational-art with Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs) to understand linguistic and emotional complexity.
