Orvin Pierre is a dedicated Junior at Harvard University with a major in Chemistry and a secondary focus on Classics. He is a 2020 PRISE Research Fellow affiliated with the Hooker Lab at the MGH Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. Orvin has actively engaged in various campus organizations, assuming leadership roles to foster community and support others, including positions in the Harvard Black Men's Forum and the Harvard Caribbean Club. His interests span across the sciences, medicine, sports, mentorship, education, and ancient Greek and Roman history. With aspirations to become a surgeon, he intends to further his education through medical school post-graduation, leveraging his diverse experiences, people skills, and passions to excel in a professional healthcare environment.
Orvin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Harvard University, where he is currently pursuing his undergraduate studies. Prior to this, he attended St. Sebastian's School.
