Ornella Byak

Ornella Byak is an accomplished leader, bringing her skills and experience to BETTER, the non-profit organization she founded to provide quality education in East Timor. She studied at Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College and graduated with a Bachelor of Technology and Innovation at the University of Technology Sydney. Ornella has an extensive professional career that includes executive roles in Olive Capital Pty Ltd, PrimeAdvisory, and Tink Recruitment, among other organizations. She is a former Marketing and Events coordinator, Technology, Operations & Marketing Executive, Recruitment Consultant, and Founder of various start-ups. Ornella's experience in Operations and Front-of-House at Ray White Haberfield and Napoli in Bocca have honed her customer service skills. BETTER is at the center of Ornella's philanthropic work, focusing on bringing educational opportunities to underprivileged children in East Timor. Ornella Byak is passionate about sustainable ecosystems and empowering communities to change and effect change through education.
