Orkhan Karimzada

Orkhan Karimzada is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at ADA University and a Visiting Scholar at George Washington University.3 He holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and specializes in power electronics, renewable energy, and sustainable energy sources.3

Karimzada joined ADA University in September 20171 and currently teaches courses such as "Introduction to Electronics" and "Human-Computer Interaction".5 His research focuses on sustainable energy practices, power converters, and grid-connected photovoltaic systems.24

Recently, Karimzada has been involved in various activities related to his field:

1. Published a paper on "Design and Verification of a GaN-Based, Single Stage, Grid-Connected Three-Phase PV Inverter" in December 2024.2
2. Participated in Energy Literacy Training with the Energy Swaraj Foundation in August 2024.4
3. Discussed energy transition and the role of the COP29 conference on global climate change on ATV in August 2024.7

Karimzada is actively engaged in promoting renewable energy education and research, as evidenced by his involvement in a Full-Time MSc Dual Degree Program in Renewable Energy offered by Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.6
