Meet Orestis Herondotu, a highly skilled software engineer and UI/UX designer with proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, ReactJS, AngularJS, jQuery, PHP, and CMS integration. With a passion for creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites and applications, Orestis brings extensive experience in graphic design, wireframing, and flash animation to every project he works on.

Orestis received his Bachelor's degree from Purdue University, where he studied Political Science, Anthropology, and French. Throughout his academic years, he honed his skills in web development and software design by working on various projects, and since graduating, he has worked with some of the most prestigious organizations in the tech industry.

He started his career as a Web Developer at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he gained significant experience in front-end development. He then moved on to work as a Photo Archivist at Purdue University, where he was responsible for organizing and maintaining the university's vast photography archive.

Orestis later founded and led Digital Topography Studios, where he handled all the development and design aspects of the company's projects. He subsequently worked as a Front End Developer at Virgance, where he was responsible for the creation and maintenance of several high-profile websites.

Orestis's work caught the attention of several top tech companies, and he was eventually hired as a Lead UX Developer at Only Sky, where he oversaw the development of several complex applications. From there, he moved on to work at TurnClick as a Lead UX Developer before securing a position as a Lead Software Engineer at TechCrunch. Currently, Orestis works at Planet as a software engineer, where he continues to use his skills and experience to create innovative and impactful products.

Aside from his work in the tech industry, Orestis is also a former crew member and 5Gyres ambassador at The 5 Gyres Institute, showing his passion for environmental issues.
