Oren Jacob

Oren Jacob is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning over 20 years in film, animation, and computer graphics at Pixar, followed by 5 years working on Siri at Apple, and 10 years as a co-founder and CEO of ToyTalk/PullString.

With a solid educational foundation in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, Oren also holds a certificate in Avalanche Safety from Alpine Skills International and has a high school education from University High School.

Throughout his career, Oren Jacob has held various key roles in renowned organizations, including being the Engineering Lead at Apple, CTO at Pixar, CEO at PullString, Inc., and an Entrepreneur in Residence at August Capital.

Oren has been actively involved in academia, contributing as an instructor in entrepreneurship at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business, a course mentor at Stanford University, and as an instructor at Pixar University and the Academy of Art University.

His extensive experience includes leadership positions such as Executive Producer at Ensemble Pictures, Director of Studio Tools at Pixar, and Supervising Technical Director on hit animated films like 'Finding Nemo' and 'A Bug's Life.' Additionally, he has played integral roles in the technical development of iconic Pixar movies like 'Toy Story' and 'Toy Story 2.'

Besides his professional accomplishments, Oren Jacob is known for his fast typing skills and his ongoing pursuit of learning new skills, such as skiing.
