Onajite Taire

Onajite Taire is a proactive and self-motivated individual with a keen interest in coding, entrepreneurship, and promoting gender inclusion in Computer Science.

Onajite Taire holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science & Software Engineering, Business Administration with a minor in Data Science from Augustana University. She also completed her General Certificate of Secondary Education focusing on Science, Technology, and Society at the International School Lagos.

Currently, Onajite Taire works as an Associate Product Manager at LinkedIn and has previously participated in various prestigious programs such as the VPE Participant at Harvard Business School and the Virtual Insights Series at Goldman Sachs.

Onajite Taire has been actively involved in several organizations such as being a Senator at Augustana University, a Fellow at Rewriting the Code, a WAVE Advisee at BUILT BY GIRLS, and Vice President of the African Student Union at Augustana University.

She is also known for her leadership roles as the President and Founder of Augie Women in STEM, President & Founder of Augie Hip-hop Club, and as an Events Staff member at Augustana Athletics.

Onajite Taire has diverse industry experience, having participated in various programs with companies like Twitter, Microsoft, Lyft, Google, and The New York Academy of Sciences.

She has also served in roles such as Social Media Strategy & Digital Marketing Intern at OFSERV, User Experience Designer & Content Creator at NTailor, Senior Mentee at STEM U (United Technologies), and Production Manager at Junior Achievement Nigeria.

With a strong educational background and a wealth of experience in different organizations and companies, Onajite Taire continues to be a driving force in promoting diversity, inclusion, and innovation in the field of Computer Science and beyond.
