Omar completed his high school education at Mundelein High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with a focus on cyber security within information technology from Grand Canyon University. Additionally, he studied Marketing Communications & Education at Carthage College.

Throughout his career, Omar has held various roles in the technology sector. He is currently serving as an IT Sr. Analyst at Avant. Prior to this, he was an IT Analyst - Atlassian Admin and an IT Analyst Support at Avant. His experience also includes positions at eGuide Tech Allies, Enova International, Best Buy as a Geek Squad Agent, and Medline Industries as a Contract Coordinator - Rebates.
