Dr. Omar Beg is a highly skilled and team-oriented senior electrical engineer with a diverse background in power systems, computer science, and formal verification. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in defense, he holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). His expertise lies in electrical systems design and analysis, making him a successful technical project leader. Dr. Beg has a strong academic background, having completed his doctorate at The University of Texas at Arlington, and holding degrees from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), including a Master of Science and Bachelor of Engineering diploma. Throughout his career, he has held various roles in prestigious organizations such as Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Permian Basin and Assistant Professor of Research at The University of Texas at Arlington.

As a former Faculty Associate Researcher, Post Doctoral Research Scholar, and Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington, Dr. Beg has contributed significantly to the field of electrical engineering. Prior to his academic endeavors, he served as a Project Manager of Research and Development & Senior Electrical Engineer in the government sector, demonstrating his versatile skill set and leadership abilities. Dr. Beg has also been associated with National University of Science and Technology as a Faculty of BE and has prior experience as an Electrical Engineer & Project Officer in government roles. His broad skill set, encompassing research, academia, and practical engineering, sets him apart as a well-rounded professional with a deep understanding of complex electrical systems.
