Omar A. A. Saal is a highly educated individual with a diverse background in law, aerospace science, and international justice. He holds a Master of Laws - LL.M in Public International Law and Legal Studies from Leiden University, where he also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Global Challenges: International Justice, graduating Cum Laude. Additionally, he completed a Certificate of Completion in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology at the International Space University. During his high school years at Alberdingk Thijm College, he pursued the International Baccalaureate program.
In terms of professional experience, Omar has held various roles in prestigious organizations. He served as a Doctoral Legal Researcher with the NETHATE project at the University of Limerick under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. Prior to that, he gained valuable experience as a Junior Legal Officer at the European Space Agency (ESA), where he later transitioned to the role of Junior Contracts Officer. Omar also worked as a Junior Contracts Officer & Bid Manager at Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands B.V. In the corporate sector, he excelled as the UK Market Copywriting Lead at Helloprint, where he was later promoted. Furthermore, he contributed his skills as a Communications & Customer Service Representative at Helloprint and was part of the Innovating Justice Accelerator Team at HiiL - Hague Institute for the Internationalisation of Law.
