Oluyede Ajayi

Oluyede Ajayi is an experienced and multilingual business-minded project manager with a passion for making a real impact in international development projects, research, and policy.

He has extensive experience in managing project, human, and financial resources in digital agriculture, climate change policy, and rural development, with a proven track record in strategic leadership and program design.

Oluyede has built successful alliances with clients in both public and private sectors and has a background in international agricultural research, with numerous publications and recognition for his work.

Having lived in various countries across Europe, Southern Africa, Eastern Africa, and West Africa, he has managed field development portfolios and conducted research in Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific regions.

Oluyede is highly proficient in English, French, Yoruba, and basic Dutch, and has a PhD in Agricultural & Policy Economics from the University of Hannover, Germany, as well as additional education from the University of Ife in Nigeria and the Institute of Advanced Leadership in Singapore.

He has held key positions in reputable organizations such as the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), ACP-EU Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation, and World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF).
