Oluwabunmi Hr/Legal is a dynamic professional with over 10 years of experience in Law and HR, specializing in Regulatory Affairs/Compliance, Business Partnering, Training and Development, Talent Hunting, Organizational Management, Grievance Handling, and Employee Engagement Projects.
Having been called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009, Oluwabunmi furthered her education by obtaining a Masters Degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Aberdeen in 2013 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Capacity Development from the American College of Technology in Louisiana in 2021.
Her expertise spans across various legal fields including Business Law, Employment Law, Health and Safety Law, Arbitration and Mediation, Criminal and Civil litigation, which she effectively applies in her role as the Regulatory Affairs and Human Resources Partner at JGC Partners, overseeing human resources operations and regulatory compliance.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Oluwabunmi is a part-time lecturer at the Centre for Law and Business, where she imparts knowledge on contract law, commercial law, and labor law to undergraduate and postgraduate students of the University of London.
Passionate about Human Capital Development, she co-founded the GETWORK Nigeria Initiative, focused on enhancing the quality of the 'Entry-level' workforce through employability training, mentoring, and talent scouting.
Furthermore, she serves as the Legal Aid Coordinator at the Occupational Health, Safety, and Empowerment Centre, an NGO established by her father, Dr. Bamisayo Oluwagbemi, aimed at promoting a safe and healthy work environment in Nigeria.
Oluwabunmi is an active member of esteemed professional associations including the Nigerian Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, World Safety Organisation, Society of Women in Safety, Health Environment, Africa, and Association of Nigerian Women Safety Professionals.
