Olumuyiwa Desmennu is a dedicated Research Fellow/Research Manager adept at leading and overseeing university research and sponsored programme offices.

With a strong background in research grants and contract management, Olumuyiwa has received formal and informal training in various aspects of research management from reputable local and international organizations.

His expertise extends to IP Management, Database Management, strategic planning, and negotiation, allowing him to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve objectives and meet project deadlines.

Olumuyiwa Desmennu has a proven track record of organizing training sessions for research administrators in Nigeria and the West Africa sub-region, providing valuable support in proposal and budget development to academic staff.

His educational journey includes a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan, a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin, a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation from the University of Kentucky, and additional certifications in Research Management, Education Evaluation, and Project Management.

Having held positions such as Junior Research Fellow, Principal Executive Officer, and Programme Officer at esteemed institutions like the University of Ibadan, Olumuyiwa Desmennu brings a wealth of experience to research initiatives and academic support services.

Olumuyiwa has also shared his knowledge as a Class Teacher and Science Tutor in various educational settings, emphasizing his dedication to both research endeavors and educational development.
