Olumide Ogunbanjo

Olu Ogunbanjo is an award-winning ecologist with a strong interest in innovative research and development in biological sciences. His expertise lies in AgriFood, GIS/Remote Sensing, process optimization, and logical framework. Olu is well-versed in the application of cutting-edge technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, IoT, and Big Data analytics within the life sciences domain. He has a diverse educational background, with studies in various institutions including Coventry University, the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) at the University of Twente, and the University of Ibadan. Olu has held key positions in prominent organizations, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at AgroData. He has previous experience as the Business Area Controller at Myjoy Foods Industries Ltd and has served in several roles at the Ogun State Government, including Principal Agricultural Officer, Project Lead (Agroforestry), and Project Officer. Prior to this, he was a Project Development Officer specializing in Sericulture at the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria and started his career as an Intern at the same institute.
